Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter the draw to be in to win a trip to the Australian Open forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise advised.
Promotional period
The promotion commences NZST 12:01am 19th January 2026 and continues until NZST 11:59pm 28th February 2026.
Who can enter
This promotion is only open to individuals who are New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over, who hold a valid Mico trade account and purchase eligible products from a participating Mico store during the Promotional Period. This is a trade-only promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and Mico are ineligible for this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.
How to enter
Simply purchase one or more Haier wall-mounted split systems from the list set out below (Eligible Products) from a participating Mico store during the Promotional Period and each Eligible Product purchased during the Promotional Period will earn one (1) automatic entry into the draw to win an Australian Open Prize Package as described below.

Eligible Products are a Hot Water Heat Pump system from any of the Haier systems listed below.

Prize draw
All valid entries will go into the draw. There is Australian Open prize package to be won.
Each Australian Open Prize Package includes:
- Return economy flight for one to Melbourne
- 2 nights’ accommodation (single occupancy)
- 1 ticket to a scheduled 2026 Australian Open match
- Transfers between airport, hotel, and event
Each prize is valued at $ 3000.00 NZD
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs not specifically included in the prize. All Australian Open tickets are issued subject to the Australian Open Ticket Conditions of Sale and Entry 2026 (which can be found online at https://ausopen.com/conditions-of-sale-entry).
All Australian Open Reserve hospitality products, including dining and/or private space elements, are provided subject to the Australian Open Hospitality Conditions 2026 (which can be found online at https://www.tennis.com.au/doc/ao26-premium-exp-conditions).
The prize draws will take place at [10:00am NZDT on 11 March 2026] at [810 Great South Rd, Penrose]. The first one valid entry drawn at random will win an Australian Open Prize Package.
The winner will be notified by the Promoter contacting them through email or phone. The Promoter may also announce the winners through Mico or Haier trade marketing channels. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, the prize may be forfeited and redrawn.
Travel must occur between 12 January 2027 and 1 February 2027. If for any reason any of the winners do not take/redeem the prizes by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prizes will be forfeited.
By accepting a prize you consent to Tennis Australia Limited using your personal information and photographing/recording your image while you are participating in the any activity or event run or organised by Tennis Australia which constitutes part of the Prize. And you agree that any such photographs, electronic images, sound recording or video footage may be used by Tennis Australia in resources and reports, or promotional, advertising or marketing materials, without any further notice or payment to yourself.
General
Winners take the prize at their own risk. The prize, in whole or in part, is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
The Promoter will not be liable for any prize that is lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged and will not replace them.
Subject to relevant regulatory approval (if applicable) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, if this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant; or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or illegible entries. Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.
If any part of the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents), Facebook and Instagram exclude all liability (including for negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in prize value; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) participation in the promotion or use of a prize.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
The Promoter (or its associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (Content Owner) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trademark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter's express written agreement or of the other applicable Content Owner.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to any suppliers associated with this promotion and as required, to regulatory authorities, or use such information to contact the entrant in relation to this promotion. The entry is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant marks the applicable box, the Promoter may use the entrant's personal information for the purposes specified at the time of collection. Entrants should direct any requests to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter. These Terms and Conditions are deemed to incorporate our privacy policy and by entering the promotion, you accept the terms and conditions of our privacy policy. Personal information collected as part of this promotion will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy (LINK).
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The Promoter is Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd of 78 Springs Road, East Tamaki, Auckland.
