Tim's Treehouse

There’s no housing crisis for this Auckland kid. Nine year old Tim from Mission Bay, Auckland had his one true wish granted in July when the Mico team helped build him his very own treehouse.

Tim has Hodgkin Lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system) and it has been a tough road for him, undergoing treatment in hospital and having to spend a lot of time recovering. However, Tim is a confident kid who loves his friends, art, reading and Pokémon!

His one true wish was to have a house all to himself (not mum and dad’s house!) where he can invite his friends to play and he even promised to let his younger brother come inside.

Neil Halliday, Sarah Baptista and Rob Thomas all mucked in to help with the project.

“Contributing to Tim’s treehouse wish gave me a sense of accomplishment (successfully assembling flat packed goods!) and purpose. I am grateful that Mico partners with Make a Wish. I love that I work for a company that cares and gives back to the community,” says Sarah.
